Property Nexus (the UK property network) is very excited to announce that it will be holding its inaugural property speed networking event at Sway Bar in London on Tuesday 23^rd May 2023

The event will provide you with the opportunity to meet in-person other attendees from the property industry and to make new contacts and business leads. At the event you can expect to meet a wide range of professionals within the property industry, construction and other built environment sectors, including:

property agents
architects / interior design
building and quantity surveyors
project managers and facility managers
structural engineers
town planners
lawyers
property investors and financiers
property developers and asset managers

The event will be structured so that you will have one-on-one individual speed networking meetings (lasting 3 minutes each) with up to 20-30 other attendees. This will allow you enough time to speak to all of the other attendees at the event and to swap contact details

Sway Bar is a bar located in the heart of Holborn in London which is an extravagant and beautiful place with an excellent atmosphere. We have a private area booked for our event, The Hide room which is an opulent and intimate space perfect for our speed networking event. The closest tube station is Holborn on the Central Line. The Hide room is located on the lower ground floor of Sway Bar

As part of this event you will receive a drinks token which can be used to purchase a drink at the private bar. Attendees can then purchase additional drinks at their own expense

EVENT FORMAT / ITINERARY

The format / itinerary for the event will be as follows:

6:30-7:00pm – Registration of attendees

The host for the event will register all attendees and provide them with a name badge as well as a drinks token

Any attendees arriving late may not be able to take part in the event so please ensure you arrive during this time

Once the attendees have arrived the host will explain how the evening will unfold

7:00-7:45pm – Speed networking (1^st session)

Everyone will be seated and the first session of individual speed networking meetings will begin

After each meeting attendees will rotate between tables every 3 minutes and the whole session will last up to 45 minutes

At the end of each meeting attendees will be able to swap business cards/contact details if they would like to contact each other again in future. (Please note that we will not be issuing attendees lists or contact details of other attendees and it is therefore up to you to swap contact details with other attendees during your individual meetings or in the informal open networking session which will follow after speed networking ends)

7:45-8:00pm – Break for drinks and refreshments

There will be a 15 minute break half way through the event to allow for refreshments

8:00-8:45pm – Speed networking (2^nd session)

Again everyone will be seated and the second session of individual speed networking meetings will begin

After each meeting attendees will rotate between tables every 3 minutes and the whole session will last up to 45 minutes

8:45-9:30pm – Informal open networking session

The host will announce the end of speed networking and there will then be a final period of 45 minutes for attendees to purchase further refreshments at the private bar and open networking between attendees. This will be a good opportunity for you to speak further to other attendees

9:30pm – Event ends

The event will come to an end
