All personal information collected by the Property Nexus Property Deals Marketplace website (“the Marketplace”) or otherwise collected from you in the course of the business of Property Nexus Limited (also referred to as “we”) will be treated in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Property Nexus is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. We abide by local data protection laws in the UK, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018 (we refer to these laws together as the ‘DP Laws’). Property Nexus is a data controller for the purposes of the DP Laws.
What information do we collect?
Depending on which services you use as part of the Marketplace, we collect different kinds of information from or about you and your business.
We collect the content and other information that you provide when you use our Marketplace, including when you sign up for an account/registration, create or share a listing, and message or communicate with others. This can include information in or about the content that you provide, such as the location of a photo or the date a file was created. We also collect information about how you use our Marketplace, such as the types of content you view or engage with or the frequency and duration of your activities.
We also collect content and information that other people provide when they use our Marketplace, including information about you, such as when they send a message to you or use your contact information.
We collect information about the people and businesses you are connected to and how you interact with them, such as the people and businesses you communicate with the most or you like to share with. We also collect contact information that you provide if you upload this information from a device.
We collect information from or about the computers, phones or other devices where you or your business install or access our Marketplace.
How do we use this information?
We use all of the information we have to help us provide and support our Marketplace as follows:
• We are able to deliver our Marketplace, personalise content and make suggestions for you by using this information to understand how you use and interact with our Marketplace and the people or things you’re connected to and interested in on and off our Marketplace.
• We also use information we have to provide shortcuts and suggestions to you.
• When we have location information, we use it to tailor our Marketplace for you and others.
• We conduct surveys and research, test features in development and analyse the information that we have in order to evaluate and improve products and services, develop new products or features and conduct audits and troubleshooting activities.

How is this information shared?
People and businesses use our Marketplace to make listings, connect and share with others. We make this possible by sharing your information in the following ways:
When you make a listing, share and communicate using our Marketplace, you choose the audience who can see what you share. Likewise, when you use our message service, you also choose the people who you message.
Public information is any information that you share with a public audience, as well as information in your public profile or content you share on a Marketplace page or another public forum. Public information is available to anyone on or off our Marketplace and can be seen or accessed through online search engines, APIs and offline media, such as on TV.
In some cases, people and businesses you share and communicate with may download or re-share this content with others on and off our Marketplace. When you comment on another person’s listing or like their content on our Marketplace, your comment will also be public.
Other people may use our Marketplace to share content about you with the audience they choose. For example, people may share a listing you made on the Marketplace or share information about you that you shared with them.
When you use third-party apps, websites or other services that use, or are integrated with, our Marketplace, they may receive information about what you list, post or share. In addition, when you download or use such third-party services, they can access your public profile for you or your business and your listing. Information collected by these apps, websites or integrated services is subject to their own terms and policies.
If the ownership or control of all or part of our Marketplace or their assets changes, we may transfer your information to the new owner.
We work with third-party companies who help us provide and improve our Marketplace or who use advertising or related products, which makes it possible to operate our companies and provide free services to people around the world.

How can I access manage or delete information about me?
You have the right to access personal data that we hold on you in accordance with the DP Laws. If you have any requests concerning your personal information or any queries concerning our processing, please contact us at enquiries@propertynexus.co.uk and we will respond to your enquiry within 30 days unless the query is complex. You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal information. However, we may charge a reasonable fee, if your request is clearly unfounded or excessive.
We store data for as long as it is necessary to provide products and services to you and others, including those described above. Information associated with your account will be kept until your account is deleted, unless we no longer need the data to provide products and services or we decide to shut down the Network.
You can delete your account any time. When you delete your account, we delete things that you have posted or listed about you or your business, such as photos and business description. Bear in mind that information that others have shared about you is not part of your account and will not be deleted when you delete your account.
Legal requests
We may access, preserve and share your information in response to a legal request (e.g. a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. We may also access, preserve and share information when we have a good faith belief that it is necessary to: detect, prevent and address fraud and other illegal activity; to protect ourselves, you and others, including as part of investigations; or to prevent death or imminent bodily harm. Information that we receive about you, including financial transaction data related to purchases made with our Marketplace, may be accessed, processed and retained for an extended period of time when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations concerning possible violations of our terms or policies, or otherwise to prevent harm. We also may retain information from accounts disabled for violations of our terms for at least a year to prevent repeat abuse or other violations of our terms.
Updating this Privacy Policy
We may need to update the policies in this Policy from time to time to accurately reflect our services and practices which will be shown on this page on our Marketplace and therefore you should regularly check this page. Once any updated Policy is in effect, you will be bound by it if you continue to use our Marketplace. If you do not agree to our updated Policy and no longer want to be a part of the Marketplace, you can delete your account at any time.
