All event bookings through this website or through Eventbrite, Meetup or Fatsoma are subject to the following terms and conditions:

Legal capacity

By making a booking to attend one of our events, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and you are at least 21 years old. You accept that some event venues will not admit you and therefore you may not be able to attend our events if you are not at least 21 years old.

Event venues

Our events are held at external venues and therefore you agree to adhere to all of the particular venue’s terms and conditions, housekeeping rules, procedures and policies (including policies as to admissions, dress code, behaviour and conduct) that may be in place at the venue.

We may occasionally have to change the published venue for the event for reasons beyond our control and in such cases you will not be entitled to cancel unless the change in venue represents a significant disadvantage to you.

Liability, loss and/or damage

If you have a disability or medical condition that requires special arrangements to be made, please notify us of your requirements when making your booking.

You are liable for any loss or damage which you may cause to an external venue, or to yourself or to any other event attendees.

Event attendees shall be required to keep their personal belongings with them at all times and we accept no liability for damage to, or loss of, personal belongings. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss (including, without limitation, theft) of any property occasioned on our premises or at external venues.

Covid 19

You attend our events at your own risk and we shall not be liable for any loss or damage you suffer as a result of contracting Covid 19 at one of our events.

For the safety of other attendees, you should not attend our events if at the time of attending you are infected with Covid 19 or displaying symptoms of this and we reserve the right to refuse entry to our events to any attendee who is so infected or displaying such symptoms although we accept no responsibility to actively monitor this at our events.

Booking in advance

All attendees must book in advance for the event they wish to attend. A confirmation email will be sent with each booking by either Property Nexus directly or through Eventbrite, Meetup or Fatsoma. Entry cannot be guaranteed if bookings are not made in this manner.

Price and payment for event tickets

The price of any of our events will be as quoted on our website or on Eventbrite, Meetup or Fatsoma, except in cases of obvious error. We do not charge VAT on the price of a ticket to the event, however Eventbrite, Meetup (via PayPal) or Fatsoma may charge VAT on any booking fees they charge. Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect any bookings which we have already sent you a booking confirmation for, except in cases of obvious error.

You may only pay for your booking online through Eventbrite, Meetup (via PayPal) or Fatsoma. We do not accept cheques or cash as payment for bookings.

All bookings made through Eventbrite, Meetup (via PayPal) or Fatsoma are also subject to their separate terms and conditions.

If there are any errors in the processing of payment for a booking made through Eventbrite, Meetup (via PayPal) or Fatsoma then you will need to contact these organisations directly or your bank about these errors as Property Nexus is not involved in the payment process and is not responsible for this.

Cancellations, refunds and transfers

We do not offer refunds on tickets or transfers other than when an event is cancelled by us.

We may have to cancel an event (which shall be at our absolute discretion) for example due to pandemics, government directions, extreme weather, issues with the venue, or other occurrences outside of our control. In such circumstances, we will attempt to offer a full refund or transfer the booking to another event of our choice.

All refunds and transfers are at our absolute discretion.

Types of attendees

Our events are open to all members of the public and we do not actively regulate nor restrict the industries, sectors or other details of attendees. We also do not guarantee that any particular type of attendee or number of these within a particular industry or sector will be in attendance at an event.

Attendees lists

We do not circulate attendees lists to attendees of our events. It is therefore up to individual attendees to swap contact details with other attendees at the events.

Conduct and behaviour at events

All attendees must conduct themselves in a professional and amicable manner whilst attending our events. We reserve the right to refuse entry to individuals or groups both for individual events and for future ones.

Marketing and publicity

We may use photographs taken at events in publicity and marketing materials, including use on our websites and social media. Your attendance at an event may mean that you are featured in such photographs and are deemed not to object to the taking of such photographs as detailed above. If you do not wish to be included in any photograph please notify the photographer at the relevant event prior to the photographs being taken.

Please note that by purchasing a ticket to one of our events you are opting in / agreeing to share your contact details with Property Nexus to include on our marketing database for the purpose of contacting you in relation to that event and to notify you of details of future events – please email enquiries@propertynexus.co.uk should you wish to have your name removed from the Property Nexus database.
